Antique pocket surveying clinometer compass in original leather case.

Marked to the back 'A P Greenfeild & Co Brisbane' as well as 'Made in England'.

Compass needle moves and appears to point north but not sure how the rest works as west and east seem to be on the wrong side.  Not my area of expertise sold as is.

Brass plate also with the compass, unsure how it all works.

Appears to be a chip to the dial where the 'N' should be?

  Leather case stiching has come apart and missing the leather tag to the front.

Interesting piece.
